Sketches, Stains and Stories When I began this supporting study I wanted more than just a collection of sketches, I wanted a visual journal of change . Change in time, change in style, and change in the way we hold on to memories. Each element on this board is a fragment of that idea stitched together through textures, colours and moments I’ve captured.  The theme that runs through my work here is   transformation . I explored how different objects  from a coffee-stained pocket watch to a modern digital wristwatch can tell the story of time passing. The pigeon, for me, represents a world before instant messages, a messenger from an era when communication traveled on wings. The fashion sketches are my way of capturing another kind of change: how style evolves while still holding onto individuality.  My process was as layered as the board itself.
